Study: 26% of US Seniors Have Tried a Dating App
In a study of over 2,000 Americans aged over 65, 26% of respondents admitted trying a dating app.
A new survey conducted by Comfort Keepers, a market-leading provider of uplifting home care for seniors, explores what brings seniors joy. The study found that over a quarter of seniors have tried a dating app, with almost 73% believing that it’s never too late to find true love.
When it comes to re-entering the dating scene, three-quarters (77%) of seniors say if they could go back in time, they would choose the same life partner again.
Contrary to stereotypes around elderly people, 63% of seniors say they use social media everyday. The study looked at what brings this community joy, with the top 3 answers being family (71%), friends (49%) and good weather (26%).
Dating amongst seniors doesn’t have to happen online. Dating app OurTime recently partnered with the Ambassador Cruise Line to help build connections between solo cruise guests.
