Introducing DateMetriX: The Personality Type Matching App

The team behind DNA Romance have launched a new dating app focusing on personality metrics for matchmaking. The new app, called DateMetriX, evaluates personality types to ensure that matches aren’t superficial.

In a recent press release, DateMetriX explained that it uses the principles of Jung / Myers-Briggs 16 personality types. This psychometric assessment is found within organisational psychology, and is now being applied to online dating.

The platform will prioritise personality compatibility, enabling it to create meaningful connections between users.

Dr. Timothy Sexton, the founder of DateMetriX and DNA Romance LTD, said “Our platform harnesses decades of psychological insights. With DateMetriX, we’re not only showing photos; we’re pairing personalities, passions, beliefs, and hobbies”.

DNA Romance, the first dating app launched by Dr Sexton, uses a unique Personality Compatibility Alignment algorithm to match users, as well as DNA analysis.

This same algorithm will drive DateMetriX, where users can enter their personality type or complete a quick test during sign-up. A user’s personality type will then be displayed on their DateMetriX profile, with potential matches seeing a calculated compatibility score.

The press release explains that the app was initially called ‘PsychMatch’, but was later changed after the legal dispute between Muzmatch and Match Group.

Dr Timothy Sexton also recently launched the Gene Pool Match App, which pairs compatible sperm donors, recipients, and co-parents. This app has recently made it onto the Apple Store and Google Play Store.
