The Times of India Group Invests in flutrr

The Times of India Group, the country’s largest media conglomerate, has invested in dating app flutrr. As the platform closes its Pre-Series A funding round, it looks ahead to further growth over the next 12 months. 

Kaushik Banerjee, Co-Founder and CEO of flutrr, shared that the platform is now set to cross 1 million active users across India by March 2024. This also includes an expected increase in its monthly revenue from INR 16 lakhs (USD $19,500) to 40 lakhs (USD $48,800).

The Times of India Group has significant media assets in TV, radio, digital, and events. It operates The Times of India, the country’s most-read English newspaper.

Anirban Banerjee, Co-Founder and CMO at flutrr, wrote on LinkedIn that “this feels more than just an investment. It’s proof that we’re on the right track to revolutionize India’s dating game forever.”
