Archer Hosts First House Party
Archer, the newly launched gay dating app from Match Group, hosted its first house party event. Held on Fire Island Pines, near Long Island, the party featured musical acts, drag performances, and social media influencer guests.
Called Archer House, the party was open to the public, inviting over 21s to attend the exclusive event. You can find the party’s Eventbrite page here.
Michael Kaye, Archer’s Head of Brand Marketing & Communications, told Out that the party prioritised queer staff, talent, and vendors for the event. This included serving Gay Water, a new brand of vodka soda that aims to destigmatize the word “gay”.
Kaye shared that this won’t be the last Archer House event. Next summer, once the app has expanded to new territories, the events could be taking place across the U.S at other hotspots for the gay community.
