Tinder Partners with Brazilian Music Festival
Dating app Tinder partnered with the Coala Festival in São Paulo to create connections amongst the concertgoers. Attendees had the opportunity to view profiles, match with others, and even receive Tinder Gold vouchers through a series of activities at the event.
Taking place earlier this month, the music festival partnered with Tinder to host unique activities for festival attendees to connect with one another.
Firstly, Tinder helped to foster matches as concertgoers were able to submit their photos / profiles using a unique hashtag. These profiles were then displayed on stage during the show’s intervals.
Secondly, an LED screen and photo booth were set up. Attendees were able to share photos and include a Tinder QR code, allowing interested people to ask to match.
Thirdly, the adapting app made Tinder Gold vouchers available to festival goers, giving them access to 5 free Super Likes.
These activations come as Tinder rolls out its global marketing campaign. The Coala Festival focuses on Brazilian music, and is in its ninth edition this year. Read more about Tinder’s partnership with the festival here.
